Albion Nights is a luxury, off-grid cabin set in a Norfolk wildflower meadow. The cabin has been lovingly hand-built using reclaimed, recycled and reused materials. The Challenge
Helen from Albion Nights came to us through Norfolk’s Go Digital funding programme – a council-backed scheme where business owners can apply for a grant of up to £500 to help them implement a digital action plan. Albion nights required a redesign of its existing website with new modern branding. The website had to reflect the new branding, and show off the features of the cabin with beautiful imagery. They also needed a blog section to share articles that they post on a regular basis, and an Instagram feed to share social updates. The website was to be linked to an external booking system where users could view availability, book, and pay for their stay in the cabin.
The Solution
We conducted an initial consultation call which gave us a brief on what needed to be included within the site. We then set up a staging site so that we were able to work on the new design without affecting the running of their existing website. We compressed and resized the imagery which was sent to us and uploaded it to the new website. Throughout the design process, we checked the responsiveness of each page to ensure it was mobile responsive (as we do on all of our sites).
The Results
It was fantastic to work with Helen from Albion nights to redesign their existing site into something that is highly fit for purpose and reflects their brand effectively. We were able to create something that showed the cabin off in the best light, highlighting its amazing features, and reasons to stay. This has helped gain cricual exposure and provided information to help users make a decision to book a stay. Since completing the website Albion Nights have hired us to provide the hosting and maintenance, as well as ongoing support.
